How did God make the World?

Dear Ellie, 

Great question! It says in Genesis 1:1 that “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”. So before anything was created, there was God. Crazy! God created the earth in a span of 6 days and rested on the 7th. Each day God created something, and He created everything for good! (including you and me) 

God also made the world creatively. God created and formed things into being. I like to think of it like a blank paper. What once was empty and formless soon has a masterpiece and written word. 

Next time you go to make a drawing, write a thought or build something remember that God created everything and you too can be creative.
